Exhibition: Close To Home
21 December 2019 : 6:30 PM - 05 January 2020 : 4:00 PM
The idea behind the ‘Close To Home’ exhibition is that it brings all the artists of the Artrooms Open Studios network together in one show.
The City of Kalamunda is well known for its artistic community and this exhibition shows a cross-section of art being produced within its boundaries. Works range from paintings to sculpture, printmaking to ceramics and many other media. The one thing that unites these artists is that they have all chosen this unique environment to pursue their art practice.
Featured artists works include: Gail Doust Keirle, Sarah Keirle, Christine Oxberry, Andrea Vinkovic, Emma Vinkovic, Paul Moro, Margaret Thornton, David Thornton, Sally Edmonds, Moira Court, Kiara Rechichi-Baker, Sandie Schroder, Gordon Mitchell, Barbara George, Danica Wiichtermann, Penny Maddison, Sandra Hall, George Hayward, Helen Hayward, Mikaela Castledine, Stephen Castledine, Karin Hotchkin
