*** CANCELLED - due to current health advice this event is to be rescheduled later in 2020 *** The Darling Range Seniors Hub is an initiative that supports ageing residents within the City of Kalamunda to stay connected to other community members.
We seek to enable our members to lead active, healthy and purposeful lives, while continuing to live in their own homes. We are inter-generational. We encourage people of all ages to support each other in achieving the goals of connection, friendship and community contribution.
This launch will include: Free BBQ breakfast, Family friendly activities, Live ABC broadcast 10 - 11am, Community information booths and live entertainment and special guest.
Everyone is welcome to the launch. Bring your family and friends!
About Darling Range Seniors Hub:
The Darling Range Seniors' Hub is a new initiative being introduced across the City of Kalamunda following on the success of other such community 'Hubs' in Australia and the USA.
This exciting new concept is driven by our desire to support our valued senior citizens in continuing to live independently in their own homes and neighbourhoods for as long as possible, as well as possible, and as inexpensively as possible.
Our 'Hub' is designed to connect seniors with a local 'mutual support' network and their local community. It will provide members with access to trusted and vetted business referrals, volunteer support, social and neighbour connection, and community
