Plants for Residents Online Ordering Opens

The City's annual Plants for Residents program is back again for 2021 - All plants need to be preordered online prior to collection. Plants will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately City staff cannot hold or deliver plants. SOLD OUT - BOOKINGS NOW CLOSED
This annual City program is extremely popular and provides free plants to residents to support the establishment of natural habitat in backyards and verges across the City and improve our urban canopy.
Where possible, we will strive to provide the plants you have selected, but in the case where the plant is not available, we will make as close a substitution as possible. There is a limit of two (2) plants per species per order.
Each eligible ratepayer will receive a total of 15 plants each for their property, however plants will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately City staff cannot hold or deliver plants. Registrations close 12noon Monday, 24 May 2021, OR until allocation is exhausted. 1-hour pick up time slots are provided. Residents are encouraged to keep to their selected time selections.

Whether you are looking to replace those water hungry plants in your yard, want to attract more birds to your garden or have removed a weedy creeper from your fence and want a slow growing native to replace it, come and choose from a selection of hardy,
local native plants! Residents can will be abele to collect their pre-ordered plants, and will also be able to ask our knowledgeable staff questions about how and where to plant their selected plants.
Residents will need to bring their booking confirmation, photo ID or equivalent (proof of address required) and a container to put your pre-ordered plants into. Residents are encouraged to arrive at their selected hour timeslot at the time of pre-ordering to assist with traffic management and event flow.
