Starting Tuesday, 1 October 2024, the City’s restricted burning season will commence, requiring permits for all burning activities.

This period will run through to 30 November 2024. To obtain a fire permit, please contact the City of Kalamunda’s Community Bushfire Preparedness Team at 9257 9999 or email enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au.

We urge all residents and landowners to be aware of the restricted burning timeframe and to take the necessary precautions during any outdoor activities.

Please continue to stay informed by following local advisories for any updates or changes to the burning season schedule.

For further details, visit the City’s website or contact the City's Bushfire Preparedness team on 9257 9999.

Let’s stay safe, informed, and work together to protect our community.

Note: During the restricted burning season, residents may burn a 1m³ pile between 6 pm and 11 pm without a permit.
