Senior Statutory Planner

Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: Level 7 $88,813 – $94,231 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Statutory Planner to join our successful and energetic team at the City of Kalamunda. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, team focussed and dedicated Urban Planner that can assess complex development applications and provides expert advice and customer service to landowners, consultants, government authorities and other divisions of the City on a diverse range of land use activities.

Waste & Sustainability Projects Officer

Closing Date:  5pm Wednesday, 12 October 2022
Position Type: Full-time permanent
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 75 hours with the option for a rostered day off.
Salary:  Level 6 $80,722 - $86,815 per annum, plus superannuation.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Waste & Sustainability Projects Officer to join our resource recovery team in a varied and challenging role. You’ll be an enthusiastic team player with an interest in waste minimisation, resource recovery and recycling. This position will ensure that the City is fulfilling its commitment, and is compliant with, Western Australia’s Waste Strategy, Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery (WARR) Strategy 2030, and the City’s Waste Plan.  The role will be fundamental to the introduction of new service initiatives such as Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) and lead the delivery of an exciting range of climate change and sustainability projects.

Crew Leader - Road Maintenance

Position Type: Full-time permanent
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 76 hours over a 9-day fortnight with a rostered day off.
Salary:  Level 6 $70,563 - $72,701  per annum (depending on experience and skill level)  + plus superannuation and operations allowance
We have a vacancy for an energetic and positive person to lead their busy Road Maintenance crew. This position provides leadership and supervises the day-to-day operations of the road maintenance crew ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the approved capital and maintenance program. Junior Coaches & Instructors

Position Type: Casual
Salary:  $32.52 - $36.43 per class (subject to qualification)
The Recreation Centre are looking for Junior Coaches to join their friendly team! Programs run at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre (HPRC) and High Wycombe Community & Recreation Centre (HWCRC). The team are looking for coaches/instructors for the following programs: 

  • Movers & Groovers Main Instructor
    Fridays (HPRC) – 9:15am - 10:15am (1.5-5yrs) during school term
  • Junior Dance Assistant
    Mondays (HPRC) 4:00pm – 5:00pm (6-10 years) during school term
  • Kindy Gym Assistant
    Wednesdays (HPRC) 9:30am – 10:20am (1.5-5yrs) during school term

A valid Work with Children Check and Senior First Aid is essential.
