The City of Kalamunda recognises the important role an Economic Development Strategy plays in supporting and facilitating economic growth within the municipality.
To this end, an economic development strategy was developed with community consultation and adopted by Council in November 2017. The strategy specifies how the City can best allocate its resources to support economic development by fostering greater investment
and jobs growth. The Strategy provides an achievable, evidence-based plan for the future while responding to the challenges and opportunities presented by the current local and state economic environment.
