The City of Kalamunda recognises the important role an Economic Development Strategy plays in supporting and facilitating economic growth within the municipality.
A new Economic Development Strategy for the City is currently being developed and is expected to be released in late 2024 or early 2025.
The most recent economic development strategy was adopted by Council and released in 2017. It was developed with community consultation. The strategy specifies how the City can best allocate its resources to support economic development by fostering greater investment and jobs growth. The Strategy provides an achievable, evidence-based plan for the future while responding to the challenges and opportunities presented by the current local and state economic environment.
