Plants for Residents

Plants for Residents provides free plants to residents of the City of Kalamunda to support the establishment of natural habitat in backyards and verges across the City and improve our urban canopy.

All plants are tube stock or smaller. The program aims to promote the re-vegetation of residential and rural properties with local native trees, shrubs and groundcovers. Planting not only improves landscape quality but also provides an array of environmental benefits such as shade, carbon sequestration and shelter for birds, reptiles and small mammals.

For 2021 the Plants for Residents program will operate under a ‘click and collect’ model.

Residents can view, select and order their plants (up to a maximum of 15) and select a time-slot for collection using the the booking system.

NOTE: Collection times are split into one-hour slots to assist with traffic management and event flow.

Please check back for booking link once bookings open.

One order per household only. First order received will be deemed the valid order.

Registrations close 12noon Monday, 24 May 2021, or until allocation is exhausted. 1-hour pick up time slots are provided. Residents are encouraged to keep to their selected time selections.
