Planning WA: Planning Reform

July 2018:
The City supports majority of the recommendations and initiatives and agrees that some changes will need to be made to improve the fairness, transparency, integrity and efficiency of the Western Australian planning system. Further to the comments provided by the Western Australian Local Government Association, the City has identified a number of relevant points for further consideration.

Perth Airport New Runway Project 

August 2018:
The City of Kalamunda has been invited to provide feedback on the proposed Major Development Plan (MDP) for a new runway at Perth Airport. Submissions for feedback are due 24 August 2018, however, the City has requested an extension to this date so that Council has an opportunity to consider the submission.
