Upcoming roadworks - Roe Highway, Forrestfield

Main Roads will be undertaking road maintenance, including profiling, asphalting, and line marking, as part of their road maintenance works.

Details of work: Work will be undertaken in two stages between 6 April and 30 May 2025.

Stage 1: 6 April – 13 April 2025 (9pm– 5am, Sunday to Sunday)

  • Full closure of Roe Highway southbound
  • Detours via Tonkin Hwy, Dundas Rd, Hale Rd, Berkshire Rd, Daddow Rd, and Abernethy Rd

Stage 2: Dates to be confirmed.

  • Lane closures for line marking

The following traffic management measures will be in place:

  • Road closure: Full road closure, detours, lane closures, and variable message board (VMB) warnings. Traffic will be diverted via alternative routes as signed.

Important information:

  • These timeframes could change due to contractor availability and weather conditions.
  • Emergency services, local businesses, and residents will be notified in advance. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
  • Please follow all detour signage and allow extra travel time.
  • We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these necessary works.
