The Evacuation Centre has now closed. Residents can return but will need to show ID at any local road closures. Roe Highway remains closed to all traffic.

Evacuation Centre
The Department of Communities has established an evacuation centre at:
High Wycombe Community & Recreation Centre
📍 200 Newburn Road, High Wycombe WA 6057
If you are evacuating, please take essential items only, including:
- Medications
- Identification
- Phones and chargers
- Essential personal items
Pets
Pets can be brought with you to the evacuation centre; however, pets (except recognised assistance animals) are not permitted inside for health and safety reasons.
Pets will need to remain outside, where water and sheltered areas are available, and they will remain near their owners.
➡ Emergency WA is the source of truth for all emergency warnings, evacuation advice, road closures and updates.
Visit emergency.wa.gov.au or download the Emergency WA app, which will alert you when new warnings or information are issued and when risk levels increase.
The City of Kalamunda is supporting emergency services and will continue to share verified updates as they become available.
If you are in immediate danger, call Triple Zero (000).
