Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates 2026/2027
The City of Kalamunda is giving notice of its intention to levy differential rates for the 2026/2027 financial year.
This is in accordance with Sections 6.33 & 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995 and the Council’s intention to continue levying differential rates for the 2026/2027 Financial Year.
Details of the proposed Minimum Rates and Rate in the Dollar for each rating category are as follows:

A statement of the Objects and Reasons for the proposed rates and minimum payments is available for inspection online at kalamunda.wa.gov.au, or at the Administration Centre during business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm).
Submissions by electors or ratepayers, in respect of the Intention to Levy Differential Rates, should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Kalamunda, PO Box 42, Kalamunda, 6926 or via email to enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au.
Once Council has considered the submissions, the Differential Rates and the 2026/2027 Budget (with or without modification) will be adopted by Council.
Alternatively, feedback can be submitted online engage.kalamunda.wa.gov.au
Submissions close 5pm, Thursday 18 June 2026
