Capital Works Update | July 2026
The City of Kalamunda will soon commence a number of road renewal and footpath upgrade projects as part of the 2026/27 Capital Works Program, helping to improve the safety, accessibility and longevity of our local infrastructure.
Upcoming Works Schedule
π§ Road Renewal Works
π Cook Place & Heather Road, Lesmurdie
Works commence: Mid-July 2026
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Road surface renewal and minor civil works from Fletcher Road to Anthony Street, including the Anthony Street and Heather Road intersection.
π Hillside Crescent, Onslow Close & Lenori Road, Gooseberry Hill
Works commence: Mid-July 2026
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Road surface renewal and minor civil works from Zamia Road to Wattle Avenue.
π Ridge Hill Road, Maida Vale
Works commence: Early August 2026
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Road surface renewal and minor civil works from Bridle Drive to Midland Road.
πΆ Footpath Upgrades
π Rodgers Close, Forrestfield
Works commence: Mid-July 2026
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
Upgrade of the existing 1.2 metre footpath, including the pedestrian access way (PAW), to a new 1.8 metre-wide path.
π Gilmore Place, Forrestfield
Works commence: Mid-July 2026
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
Upgrade of the existing 1.2 metre footpath to a new 1.8 metre-wide path.
π Kalmia Way, Forrestfield
Works commence: Mid-July 2026
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
Upgrade of the existing footpath between House No. 12 and House No. 60 to a new 1.8 metre-wide path.
What residents need to know
During these works:
π§ Temporary traffic management will be in place where required.
π Residents adjacent to the works may experience temporary disruption when entering or exiting their property.
ποΈ Bin collections may be impacted. Please place your bins out before 6.00am on your usual collection day.
π¦οΈ Work schedules may change due to weather conditions or contractor availability.
π· Please follow all traffic management and onsite signage and take care around work crews.
Residents directly affected by these projects will receive additional information from the City's contractors closer to the commencement date with project-specific details.
