Work Notice: Upcoming Road and Footpath Works Across the City

The City of Kalamunda is continuing to invest in safer roads and more accessible pathways, with several works commencing over the coming weeks.

Road Renewal:

Juniper Way & Agati Place, Forrestfield
Commencing early September 2026, expected to take approximately 3 weeks.

Abernethy Road North Bound, Forrestfield
Commencing late September 2026, expected to take approximately 1 week.

Abernethy Road South Bound, High Wycombe
Commencing late September 2026, expected to take approximately 1 week. Works are on the southbound left lane, between #920 and #876 Abernethy Road, and will be carried out at night. This timeframe may change due to contractor availability or weather conditions.

Footpath Upgrade:

Burma Road, Lesmurdie
Commencing late September 2026, expected to take approximately 2 weeks.

What you need to know:

  • Temporary traffic management may be in place during works.
  • Nearby residents may experience temporary access disruptions.
  • Please place your bins out before 6:00am on collection day.
  • Work schedules may change due to weather or contractor availability.
  • Please take care around work crews and follow all traffic management directions.

Residents directly affected by these works will receive further information, including specific details from the City's contractors, before construction begins.
