Notice of Works: Bill Shaw Reserve

The City of Kalamunda will be carrying out upgrades to the irrigation and turf at Bill Shaw Reserve, Lesmurdie.

Works expected to commence from 28 September 2026 and will take up to two (2) weeks, weather and site conditions permitting.

Location: Bill Shaw Reserve: 302 Canning Rd, Lesmurdie WA 6076

Details of works:

  • Removal of the existing turf, which is predominantly weeds
  • Installation of new irrigation infrastructure
  • Soil improvement works
  • Laying of new turf stolons

Access

The site will remain fully accessible throughout the works, with measures in place to ensure public safety. Appropriate signage, cones and safety bunting will be used to delineate work areas and guide visitors.
