Artists are invited to take part in the Kalamunda Art Awards 2026, an annual exhibition celebrating creative excellence across a diverse range of artistic media and themes.
The non‑acquisitive exhibition provides an opportunity for artists to showcase their work, compete for cash prizes, and offer artworks for sale to the public. With a total prize pool of $5,000, the Kalamunda Art Awards continues to
support and recognise artistic talent from across the community.

- Painting and 2D Award – $500
- Sculpture and 3D Award – $500
- Environmentally Aware Award – $500
- People’s Choice Award – $500
Key Dates
- Call for entries: 13 April – 3 May 2026
- Entries close: Sunday 3 May 2026
- Shortlisted artists notified: Tuesday 5 May 2026
- Artwork delivery: 10am – 4pm, Tuesday 2 June 2026
- Opening event: Saturday 6 June 2026
- Exhibition dates: 6 – 28 June 2026
- People’s Choice Award announced: 29 June 2026
- Collection of unsold works: 10am – 4pm, Monday 29 June 2026
Artwork Requirements
- 2D works: Maximum 1000mm x 1000mm and no heavier than 15kg
- 3D works and sculpture: Maximum 1000mm x 1000mm x 1000mm and no heavier than 15kg
Fees and Conditions
An application fee of $30 per entry applies, with a limit of one entry per artist. Fees are payable only once an artwork has been accepted and are non‑refundable. Accepted artworks must be delivered in appropriate
condition and ready to hang or display.
Artists are encouraged to submit their best work and be part of this celebrated annual exhibition showcasing creativity in Kalamunda.
