Renewal Pathway/ Installation of New Retaining Wall – Woodlupine Brook Reserve, Forrestfield

Location : Woodlupine Brook Reserve, Forrestfield

Works are scheduled to commence on 17 February 2021 for the renewal of existing pathway and the demolition of the existing boardwalk, and upgraded to a retaining wall and rail, for the Woodlupine Brook Reserve, between Dawson Avenue and the Woodlupine Community Centre.

These works will be in constructed in two stages, to allow some access between Dawson Avene to the shops and Woodlupine Community Centre.

  • Stage 1: Works on the south side of reserve for path works only. These works are scheduled to commence 17 February 2021, and are estimated to take one (1) week to complete.
  • Stage 2: Works on the north side for renewal of pathway and installation of the new retaining wall, at the existing boardwalk site. These works are scheduled to commence late March, and are estimated to take two (2) weeks to complete.

Time-frames may vary slightly due to weather conditions and contractor availability. 

Properties located adjacent to the proposed works may experience some disturbance (e.g. machinery noise access to sections of the reserve).

The City would like to assure the community, that every effort will be made during these works to minimise impact on those who live nearby and also to the environment.
