This session presented by Advocare, aims to provide information and awareness of people’s rights as they age and empower them to make considered and informed decisions for themselves.
Advocare is the independent Peak Body for Seniors in WA. Their services are free, confidential and unbiased. Advocare aims to empower older people by giving them information and choice to make informed decisions to live the life they want on their terms.
Come along to learn about:
- How to access aged care assistance
- How to stay safe and independent at home for longer
- Advocare's volunteer program
- How to connect with essential services
- How to identify signs of elder abuse and address any concerns
Afterwards, patrons will have the opportunity to book a 1:1 support session for Tuesday 26 November, with an Advocare Community Advocate to discuss any concerns you may have for yourselves or a loved one.
A light morning tea will be provided at the event.
