Looking for fun, screen-free activities to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? The City of Kalamunda has a fantastic line-up of events across our libraries and Hartfield Park Recreation Centre to keep young minds and bodies active.

Library Fun for All Ages

There’s something for every young reader and maker at Kalamunda Libraries:

Craft Corner (Ages 4+) - sessions are free, bookings not required

  • High Wycombe Library – Monday 7 July | 10am - 12pm
  • Lesmurdie Library – Tuesday 8 July | 10am - 12pm
  • Forrestfield Library – Wednesday 9 July | 10am - 12pm

Storytime: Room on the Broom (Ages 2–6)

Lego Club (Ages 6+) - sessions are free, bookings not required

  • All Libraries – Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 July 

Paint a Pot (Ages 8–12)

Paint & Treats for Teens (Ages 13–16)

Get Active at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre

Burn off some energy with a variety of sports and movement classes:

Kindy Gym (Ages 1.5–5) – $10 per child

Soccer (Ages 6–12) – $15 per child

Table Tennis (Ages 6–12) – $15 per child

Ready Set Dance (Ages 2.5–5) – Free

Volleyball (Ages 6–13) – $15 per child

Indoor Cricket (Ages 8–15) – $15 per child

Dance: Jazz & Hip Hop – $7.50 per child

  • Ages 6–9 | Wednesday 16 July | 3:00pm–3:45pm
  • Ages 10–12 | Wednesday 16 July | 3:45pm–4:30pm | Book via Gymmaster portal

Pickleball (Ages 8–15) – $15 per child

Badminton (Ages 8–13) – $15 per child
