Submissions Now Open for Proposed Additions to Existing Distillery at Bickley

The City of Kalamunda is inviting community feedback on a development application (DA24/0500) for proposed additions to an existing distillery located at Lot 1 (90) Walnut Road, Bickley. The proposal includes the construction of a new restaurant and distillery, which will replace the existing distillery if approved.

Key Details of the Proposal:

• New Building: A single-storey structure with a floor area of 401 sqm to house the distillery and restaurant.

• Parking: 27 parking bays, including one accessible bay.

• Restaurant Capacity: Seating for up to 50 patrons.

• Proposed Hours: Monday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

• Design Compliance: The building’s setbacks align with street and boundary requirements, and its bulk and scale are consistent with the objectives of the rural Agriculture zone.
