Kanopy is a video Streaming platform for public libraries delivering one of the largest collections of Indie films, classic cinema, festival and educational documentaries, and movies
online or through an app. The services enable Public Library and State Library members to browse and view over 30,000+ films and documentaries from top suppliers, including the BBC, Criterion Collection, Ronin Films and Madman Entertainment.
Kanopy Kids features a collection of movies, TV series, Animated Storybooks, Live Action and Animated favourites, which inspire and inform. Content appropriate for children ages 2 and up, with
a focus on Kids age 2-8. Parents can also choose to implement parental controls to enable them to stay within the dedicated Kanopy Kids area for age-appropriate content.

Your library service has generously given you four (4) play credits every month.
Sign in to Kanopy to create an account. Please add your library card number when requested to confirm you are a member of the City of Kalamunda Libraries.
Browse the video library, add titles to ‘My Watchlist’ and/or select film to watch.
Once you press play on a film, you have three (3) days (72 hours) to view it as many times as you like without using another play credit. The film can be viewed, paused, finished and watched again over a 72 hour period.
Kanopy Kids allows unlimited plays for a rolling 30-days. Kids can freely explore a wide variety of educational and enriching videos in the dedicated kid’s area.
Play credits reset on the 1st of the month.Once you have reached your quota of four (4) films, you will not be able to play any films until the new month starts, when you will be given a fresh quota of four (4) play credits again.
Kanopy works best using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Edge and Safari. Internet Explorer is not recommended.Get information on the browser versions supported
