Grow South East was formed in 2015 by the Cities of Kalamunda, Armadale, Belmont, Canning, Gosnells and South Perth, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale and the Town of Victoria Park. Collectively, these regions are the biggest contributor to Perth’s economy providing $37 billion in gross regional product, or 14.3% of the State’s gross regional product.
Link WA is a shared vision between the Cities of Kalamunda, Belmont, Canning, and Swan to be a 'best practice' freight and logistics precinct, addressing the region's predominant role in meeting Western Australia's growing freight needs for the benefit of local ratepayers, industry, and State overall.
The City of Kalamunda has a key partnership with the Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce which delivers key elements of the City’s Economic Development Strategy including business mentoring, workshops and training, business networking and support for business events & Excellence Awards.
