Fees & Charges

Charges apply for commercial operators using the Walliston Transfer Station.

Disposal of commercial waste incurs a waste disposal charge and also requires a vehicle permit.

Residents/Ratepayers of the City of Kalamunda have FREE access to the Walliston Transfer Station, during normal operating hours. Residents must bring their Entry Pass (issued annually with your Rates) and Photo Identification with residential address (i.e. Drivers Licence).

Refer to the conditions of entry to transfer station for further information.

Maximum permitted trailer size 8ft x 6ft.
No Trucks, Vans, Commercial/Trade Loads, Branded Vehicles, Horse Floats.

Mattress and Whitegoods Collection: The City of Kalamunda offers a mattress and whitegoods collections service. To arrange collection of your mattress and whitegoods please contact the City on 9257 9999. Residents should advise the Customer Relations Officer when they will be placing the items on the verge so an appropriate time for collection can be arranged. Note: we are unable to collect from inside private property. Payment can be made over the phone or in person at the City of Kalamunda Administration, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda.

* Pensioner Rebate applies to the Primary Owner Occupied Residential property only. No rebate is applicable for additional services, commercial or industrial properties.

The City charges commercial fees for any of the following:
• Commercial/trade Waste
• Your vehicle or trailer is commercially signed or badged (unless you have a valid vehicle permit)
• Your waste is from a work site
• You are transporting waste for a fee or reward
