21 May 2019 1:28 PM

Do you want to promote your group, increase your membership & find new volunteers? Do you have a fabulous, fun idea on how you can entice people to join your group or club?

On the 18 July 2019 the City of Kalamunda is hosting its second inclusive event that aims to connect our community members with each other through an open “come and try day” at the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre in Forrestfield.

The City is offering your group an opportunity to be involved with this successful event which was attended by over 800 community members in 2018.

The Connecting Communities event is a great opportunity to showcase your community group or sporting club and to recruit new members or volunteers.

Members of the community will be invited to come along and take part in a series of free activities to promote opportunities which community members can access.

Please consider joining us at the event and holding an information stall and/or running some fun activities related to your group for all those who attend.

We wish to remind you that this is an inclusive event, with people of all abilities and ages invited to come along and try a new activity or interest. You may choose to set up a few activities aimed at certain ages or abilities. Information can be provided regarding activities from last year's event - including the program.

Please email your expression of interest by 24 May 2019 to sport@kalamunda.wa.gov.au.
