Lesmurdie Legends Swim Meet

22 January 2020 11:36 AM

Lesmurdie Legends Swimming Club is holding its inaugural swim meet at the Kalamunda Water Park on Saturday, 15 February 2020.

The swim meet is commencing at 1:00pm on the Saturday afternoon and swimmers from swimming clubs all over Perth are expected to attend. Swimming events being run on the day range from 400m freestyle, 200 backstroke; 100 breaststroke and 50m backstroke.

Also being held as part of the swim meet is the SunSmart Splash & Dash, which is a development initiative from Swimming WA designed to attract new members to join the sport, regardless of ability. SunSmart Splash & Dash is aimed at children aged between seven and 11 and is a great opportunity for “Rookie Racers” to try swim racing for the first time.

During the event, Lesmurdie Legends Swimming Club will be running a raffle with some awesome prizes  up for grabs, along with a sausage sizzle later in the day.

Kalamunda Water Park will remain open to the public for them to use the water slide and the junior pools so why not come along and make an afternoon of it.
