The City of Kalamunda is delighted to announce the re-opening of libraries in High Wycombe and Kalamunda from 2 June 2020.

In line with the State Government's phase two of the roadmap, up to 20 people can visit the libraries at any one time.

Access to public computers, printing and photocopying services will also resume at both libraries from 2 June however, visitor number restrictions mean some activities such as rhyme and story times will remain suspended for the time being.

The Forrestfield Library is continuing to offer ‘click and collect’ borrowing’ and take bookings by phone and online for its computer, printer and photocopying services.

City Mayor Margaret Thomas said library staff are very much looking forward to welcoming back members and visitors.

“We have introduced the necessary safety measures in order to keep everybody safe including hand sanitising on arrival and strict social distancing measures,” Cr Thomas said.

“We encourage borrowers to make their selections as quickly as possible and avoid lengthy stays so more people can access the library and keep up their reading."
