Landcare In Action: Property Tour

Join Perth NRM for an engaging 3-hour field day a local property in the Shire of Mundaring, where Chris Ferreira will share practical solutions to boost your property's potential with better soil and water management.
Learn how the owners are aligning their farm operations with the seasons to enhance their land. See first-hand how they use strategic grazing to regenerate, rather than degrade, their land.
The event will feature local landcare and sustainable landscape expert, Chris Ferreira who will cover key topics including:
- water retention & landscape rehydration
- revegetation techniques and wildlife corridors
- enhancing and managing bushland
- tacking weeds, pests and dieback
- soil improvement techniques
- managing stock including sheep and horses
- establishing pasture & fodder crops
- creating a fire-wise property
Whether you own a small rural property or a large farm, this event is tailored for all landholders interested in sustainable land management, offering valuable insights and practical tips for everyone. Connect with fellow landholders, ask questions specific to your property, and learn affordable, practical methods to boost your landscape’s resilience and sustainability.
Please note this event is taking place on an operating farm and appropriate footwear (enclosed, sturdy boots) are recommended and biosecurity protocols must be followed.
