Family fun on Australia Day at Kalamunda Water Park
Australia Day is set to go off with a splash at the City of Kalamunda’s Australia Day Pool Party on Thursday, 26 January 2023. Two-for-one entry will run between 9am and 6pm with a whole raft of activities and attractions like inflatable slides and obstacle courses, free BBQ hire, great entertainment, and fun for the kids, the event is the perfect opportunity to kick back and keep cool on Australia Day.
Mayor Margaret Thomas encouraged people to take the plunge on the day.
“Our Australia Day Pool Party provides an opportunity for people to spend time with their families, relaxing and having fun at the Kalamunda Water Park.”
The City will also host Citizenship celebrations at the City’s Administration Centre on the day when 32 people, including six children, from 18 different countries will be welcomed as new Australian Citizens.
“Australian Citizenship is a great privilege and a commitment to our country’s shared values, including equality and opportunity for all people, and I look forward to welcoming this group of new Australians into our community.”, said Mayor Thomas.
