City of Kalamunda CEO Announces Resignation
During Tuesday night's Ordinary Council Meeting, the City of Kalamunda received the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Rhonda Hardy GAICD.
Rhonda joined the City as Director Corporate and Community Services in 2011 and accepted the position of CEO in 2013.
During her decade-long leadership at the City, Rhonda’s dedication and endless enthusiasm saw her ‘outcome focused’ vision come to fruition by promoting positive change in the community.
Mayor Margaret Thomas expressed the Council's thanks to Rhonda for her incredible leadership. "Rhonda has been a driving force at the City for over a decade, her achievements are significant.”
“Rhonda has built strong partnership opportunities to stimulate economic and social prosperity, improving environmental development and undertaking political advocacy to promote the needs of communities under her stewardship. Rhonda is recognised for her positive energy and enthusiasm for achieving her goals.”
Under Rhonda's leadership, the City has experienced substantial progress. Rhonda led the creation of significant strategies and masterplans, now guiding the City’s development.
Her resignation is due to health issues.
