As the holiday season approaches, the City of Kalamunda is excited to announce the availability of funding opportunities for community Christmas events.
Acting CEO Gary Ticehurst encourages all residents, local businesses, community groups, and service organisations to get involved and submit their event proposals before 5pm, Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Mr. Ticehurst emphasised the significance of community participation during this festive season, stating, "Christmas is a time when our community comes together, sharing joy, laughter, and goodwill. We want to see your creative ideas flourish and light up our City during this special time of year.
“This is an opportunity for our community to come together, share their unique talents, and create memorable moments for all. I encourage everyone to embrace the holiday spirit, submit their proposals, and be part of the magic that makes our City a special place to celebrate Christmas,” Mr Ticehurst said.
