The City of Kalamunda’s annual NAIDOC Week Art Exhibition will return to the Zig Zag Gallery from 8 July through to 17 July 2022. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Artists are invited to submit works for the 2022 exhibition.

The City of Kalamunda welcomed the hands on help of 120 Perth College students on Thursday, with students getting hands on in Jorgensen park working with the City of Kalamunda’s parks and Environment team and the Friends of Jorgensen park, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

The City of Kalamunda has welcomed an announcement by Federal Labor Shadow Minister for Infrastructure Catherine King in partnership with the State Minster for Transport and Planning Rita Saffioti and Swan candidate Zaneta Mascarenhas who have pledged 60 million dollars to build the long-awaited community recreational facilities.

Throwing Shade — Street Tree Partnership Adds Greenery to City

Name proposed for new park

The City of Kalamunda has endorsed, for public advertising, a proposal to name the park bordered by Koda Mews and Crimson Boulevard in Forrestfield Noel Morich Park. The request was from Noel’s family and considered under the City’s recently adopted policy on the naming of Parks, Reserves, Streets and Infrastructure. The proposal is now open for community feedback.
