The City of Kalamunda has adopted, for the purpose of public advertising, the Draft Kalamunda Futures: Youth Plan 2023-2028. Comments close 5pm on 9 February 2023.

Kalamunda Library is holding the inaugural Local History Award in 2023. The City is encouraging the community involvement in recording and promoting the rich history of the City of Kalamunda for future generations. Entries to be received by 5pm on Tuesday, 31 January 2023.

The Lions Club Art Awards are back again for 2023! Entries to be received by 5pm on Sunday, 18 December 2022.

As you may be aware the City received an application for a childcare premises at the above-mentioned site. As part of the application the proposal sought to utilise a portion of the reserve as an outdoor play area. The proponent has withdrawn the application to exercise a portion of the reserve and has submitted amended plans.

The City of Kalamunda is currently seeking submissions of expression of interest from Artists to partake in a very exciting opportunity and be part of the Kalamunda Compassionate Communities project.

Planning and development work is underway to improve safety and reduce delays along the heavily congested section of Tonkin Highway from Roe Highway to Kelvin Road. Read the latest updates released in September 2022 by Main Roads WA.

An Environmental Review Document (ERD) has been prepared by Main Roads in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority procedures and is released for public review.

Several sections of the bike trails of the Kalamunda Railway Heritage Trail and at the Pickering Brook Country Club Trails will be undergoing maintenance between Wednesday 5 October - Friday 7 October. Please be mindful and watch for signage along the track.
