The City of Kalamunda has taken out the Parks & Leisure Australia- WA Awards of Excellence - Research Award at the awards ceremony last night for work relating to its Managed Aquifer Recharge project. The project stemmed from the need to redevelop and expand the available sports fields by securing an alternate water source to license ground water.

Free StrokeSafe Talk at Woodlupine Family and Community Centre

In Australia, a stroke occurs every 9 minutes and more than 80 per cent of strokes are preventable. The City of Kalamunda is progressing with the development of the Kalamunda Loop Trail, in the popular Mountain Biking Region. With over 40km of fully signed single-track, the Kalamunda Trails area is the most popular MTB destination in WA.
