The City of Kalamunda is intensifying its efforts to prevent the spread of the polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB), following confirmed infestations in several areas. The pest was first detected in Turner Park and Marri Crescent, Lesmurdie, in August and September 2024, and most recently, a positive infestation was found earlier this month on Elizabeth Street in Kalamunda.
